We talk games.

Everyone with a 360 knows that one of the best features of the new NXE is the HDD Install, which stops the loud 360 from violently spinning your precious discs, and improves load times. Due to my love of Rock Band and my hate toward the overpriced 120GB Xbox 360 harddrive, I haven’t been able to install any of my games to the HDD. I tested a few to see how much space they took up but the timely process got old pretty fast. Sean from NeoGAF has put together a list of every game and how much space it takes up, and even puts adds some commentary on some of the titles about how load time is affected. This will end up saving me a lot of time. Hit the jump for the entire list.

The multidisc games are a killer. But in contrast, Burnout Paradise only 3.4 GB? I don’t know much about making games, but that seems like a small amount of space for such a large amount of city. These installs will improve loading time across the board; with the exception of Halo 3, but are you really still playing that?

  1. LongQuote is Long.

    Also:

“How could this happen to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?”

  2. Sigh. Mine is too.
*Browses eBay for 120GB hard drives*

  3. Be careful with used 120GB harddrives. I’m pretty sure they come with a one time only use transfer cable. If they used it already, you might be boned when it comes to moving your saves and such.

  4. I wouldn’t worry TOO much on it. Out of the say….3-4 games i’ve installed, the only one that shows a rather large improvement is Dynasty Warrior 6. which cuts stage load times by about….all. lol. doesn’t take a minute and a bathroom trip to load.

Apparently Last Remnant is another game that helps greatly.
