We talk games.

It was bound to happen. twistedmkfan has put together a compilation of all of the fatalities in the new MK vs DC game. To be honest, I’m actually enjoying the game quite a bit, but these fatalities (and Heroic Brutalities, for the polite superheroes) are quite disappointing. Out of the whole lot I think there’s maybe 5 really good ones? I think Batman and Green Lantern have the best 2, leave your favorites in the comments!

  4. I knew the fatalities would suck. Oh well, at least now I don’t have to play the game.

  5. Despite the disappointing fatalites, the game kicks total ass. It may be too soon to say, but best fighting game of the year? Quite possibly.

  6. What would it even be up against for that title? The only other one that comes to mind is Soul Caliber 4.

  8. [...] Ed Boon, the creative director for the MK series, announced that Midway is working on another MK game. This comes along with the announcement that MK vs DC shipped 1.8 million units, which is some much needed good news for their shareholders who have otherwise been worried about financing issues. Details about the new MK game are forthcoming, but I’m willing to bet it will be sans superhero, and be a bit more graphic than the most recent installment. [...]
