PushingPlay

We talk games.

It wouldn’t be a day on Pushing Play without some Capcom news would it? After months of teasing Super Street Fighter II HD Remix is finally seeing the light of day. Playstation Network users will have it November 25th while the XBLA crowd will be getting it the day after. It’s weird to see PSN to get an update on a Tuesday, isn’t it? Well that’s because next Thursday is Thanksgiving Day, you sillies! Early PSN updates for everyone! But that’s not all!

Capcom have also announced that SSF2HDR DLC will be making its merry way to both consoles. The 360 already has a Pinball FX pack available right now and will have a SF-themed Uno card pack on December 10th. Capcom hints at surprises for the PS3, which could be anything from a new PAiN ragdoll to some fresh LittleBigPlanet costumes. Sweet. They also want us to know that a free downloadable Street Fighter-inspired Hiphop album will be coming to PSN. Double sweet. Some of the featured artists include DJ Qbert, Hieroglyphics, Redman, Oh No, DJ Toure, Mistah FAB, and Zion I.

Lastly, both consoles are getting Capcom-branded store fronts to house the new release and DLC, as well as a “new Premium and Basic Theme for the New Xbox Experience”.

Phew! That was a doozy of Capcom news. Good thing they’re paying our bills, amirite?

Wait…what?

  1. Hieroglyphics FTW

  2. seriously though… this is a stacked lineup if I’ve ever seen one. We contacted them for a more specific setlist, but we haven’t had any luck.
