If you’re reading this post, you probably saw this coming, but you just might not have expected it so early. Diablo III, the longtime awaited sequel to the Diablo franchise, doesn’t even have a release date, but we know for sure expansions will be coming. In an interview with MTV Multiplayer, Blizzard’s CEO, Mike Morhaime was quoted:

I don’t think Blizzard will ever be able to do sequels of products like a “Diablo III” or “Diablo IV” on an annual basis, but we might be able to do expansions to those games close to annually.

Also from the interview, Morhaime unsuprisingly admitted that the team was looking at what was in store for World of Warcraft’s next expansion. But, where else in the Warcraft universe can they expand to? Show off your nerd lore knowledge in the comments!
