GT5 Prologue has added three new cars to the vehicle roster in a update. Let’s take a closer look at them.
The car above is the GT Citroen, a car that Digital Polyphony collaborated with Citroen to help design.
Hit the jump to check out the details on all 3.
GT Citroen
The GT Citroen was officially unveiled at the Paris Auto show last week and is still in the ‘concept’ phase. It is a 3000 pound two seater that takes 3.6 seconds to get to 62 mpg with it’s 646 horsepower engine (+136 hydrogen powered horsies). The Citroen is renowned for it’s incredibly tight handling.
Ferrari California
The California is a Touring Sports Car from Ferrari that revives the name of the late 1950s Ferrari 250 GT. It has a 4.3 L V8 engine that churns out 453 bhp and takes the car from 0-60 in less than 4 seconds. The California is Ferrari’s first front engined Ferrari with a V8 and also their first car that features a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
Lotus Evora
The Evora is part of Lotus’ plan to expand its line of cars. It’s much larger than other cars that Lotus makes and weighs in at 3000 lbs, but like all Lotus cars, it’s name starts with an E. It’s the only Lotus car that offers a 2+2 seat configuration, but is also available in two seater form. The car should go into production in 2009, which is sooner than any of the other new cars in GT.
These new cars should help round out the driving experience in GT5: Prologue.. and give the game some added replay value.
